of Army Wives Kicks Off “Making The Most Of 2006” Featuring
Kathy Peel.

talk radio show, Army Wife Talk Radio (AWTR), developed
specifically for army wives, welcomes Kathy Peel “America’s
Family Manager”, as seen on Oprah, CBS Early Show, HGTV,
and more. AWTR will be kicking off a four part series
for Army wives on “Making The Best of 2006.” The first
show is scheduled to air Jan 9, 2006 via the website
and podcast. AWTR will broadcast weekly, with a new
show each Monday for the remainder of the series welcoming
experts on topics of weight loss & exercise, goal
setting, and putting your best face forward.

been no stranger to success. Launching April 18, 2005
Army Wife Talk Radio has seen over 500+ listeners per
week. “I am overwhelmed by the amount of support AWTR
has received,” says Crooks.
Crooks has been “married
to the military” for seven years now. She has
a passion for educating and providing a sense of community
to other army wives. “In this day and age of war
and deployments, many wives are left on their own to
be, not only a wife and a mother, but also to become
a financial advisor and an expert of lawn maintenance,”
Crooks said. “Becoming a new spouse to a soldier,
moving to a new installation, or running a household
on your own can be, at the least, stressful. Many wives
are left to their own devices with little or no support,”
she continued.
